Minnesota and Iowa State are going head to head in the Insight Bowl at Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, Arizona.
This game is sure to draw some crowds as it is a good time to play football.
It is happening right as we speak. This is a great way for both teams to finish their seasons
About Iowa State Cyclones (6-6):
The Cyclones reached a bowl under first-year coach Paul Rhoads. Their six wins are over: North Dakota State, Kent State, Army, Baylor, Nebraska and Colorado.
About Minnesota Golden Gophers (6-6): This is the third year that Tim Brewster has coached this team. Their six wins are over: Syracuse, Air Force, Northwestern, Purdue, Michigan State, and South Dakota State.
Iowa has won 14 to 13. Way to go Iowa State Cyclones.

Kevin Pearce was seriously injured today in Park City. Olympic snowboard hopeful and Burton Global Team rider Kevin Pearce was seriously injured when he hit his head on the wall of the halfpipe Thursday afternoon while practicing at Park City Mountain Resort in Utah.
Pearce was taken to the University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City and, according to a New York Times report, underwent surgery to relieve fluid buildup in his brain. Pearce is coming off a concussion sustained earlier this month during a qualifying run at the Copper Mountain Grand Prix.
Pearce's parents, Simon and Pia, are on their way to Salt Lake City from their home in Norwich, Vt. His agent Sue Izzo said further details are not being released.

Football Coach Mike Leach Fired By Texas Tech
This is a very surprising event to see that football coach Mike Leach has been fired by Texas Tech. Coach Leach plans to fight the dismissal.
He has been accused of mistreating a player with a concussion. Coach Leach is accused of putting Adam James into isolatation two separate times during Red Raiders’ football team practice.
This is a huge shock to most sports fans as Texas Tech had just given Coach Leach a 5year, $12.7 million contract.
Texas Tech has a spot in the Alamo Bowl on January 2, 2010 against Michigan State
Coach Leach's attorney Ted Liggett has stated that “the fight has just begun”. Liggett believes he has evidence that Leach was not in the wrong.
Coach Leach has lead the Red Raiders to an 84-53 record and 5 bowl wins. Under Coach Leach Texas Tech has had 10 straight winning seasons and 9 consecutive bowl appearances.
